I really enjoy the breathwork at the beginning and the chanting at the end. As she guides us through poses, she seamlessly integrates the intention suggested at the start of the class.

No matter the size of the group, I still feel like she treats everyone as an individual. Whether that be through adjustments or guidance on deepening ones own practice. When I leave her classes, I feel lighter, more centred and more connected to the world around me.

Breathwork & Yoga Nidra

It’s no exaggeration to say Zophanie and her Breathwork and Yoga Nidra sessions have been on the top of my lockdown gratitude list. Working from home, living alone and the uncertainty of current times has resulted in all sorts of unusual and unpleasant sensations for me like so many other people, but the regular check in with myself (guided expertly by Zophanie) has really helped me through it. I live 300 miles away but thanks to the wonders of technology (and Zophanie’s kindness at welcoming me to the class when she moved online) I have been able to develop a new skill I never really thought was within me. If I am honest, relaxation has always been an afterthought at best or (if I am honest) something I’ve “just not had time for”. By learning to focus on myself in a small positive way with Zophanie in a structured session I am now understanding the term “practice” in this context… with practice I am improving and finding myself getting even more out of the sessions. I am even now beginning to successfully use some of the techniques when I am alone and feeling overwhelmed or just need to remind myself to be grateful and check in with the positive things going on. I fully intend to continue this practice and become better as I go – and I genuinely never thought that was possible until now. Thank you Zophanie for your kindness, inspiration and tuition.
