Couch to 5km

This 6-week couch to 5 km course will improve your running week by week in a safe and fun environment, suitable for everyone. (If you have any health concerns about starting an exercise programme please discuss this with your GP first).
If you want to start running but you don’t know where or how to start, then this is the perfect class for you! Be inspired to run and get fitter, with the aim of being able to run Parkrun at the end of the course.
A mix of running, walking and technique skills will be used to slowly increase fitness and stamina led by Zophanie, a keen marathon runner and coach.
Each week will be structured, improving on the previous week, with two additional runs for you to do between sessions, strength training exercises, yoga poses and stretches.
